Today we’re welcoming back Jessie Sarafian, host of Fidelity Canada’s Invested in Wellness podcast and live webcast to take us through some hands and wrist stretching exercises. As we sit for long periods of time typing at our desks, our hands and wrists can get tired, numb, and cause pain. These sensations can lead up our arm and to our neck which will cause more strain on the body. Join Jessie as she takes you through simple stretching exercises to relax our muscles and regain functional hand movement. This class can be done sitting in a chair.

With new trends, new products and new needs from clients, a career in sales can be an interesting and dynamic experience. This career path is not spoken about a lot when students are in university, and in particular, not to young women in university. On today’s FidelityNext podcast, we feature a panel of Fidelity employees who believe that sales is a great career opportunity for women and wanted to share what the role is like in retail, institutional and clearance business units.
This discussion was initially featured in the 4th annual Fidelity NextGen Women’s Summit - a conference to provide the next generation of female leaders with an opportunity to hear from leading thinkers, inspirational women, and successful professionals from various areas at Fidelity.
Laura Mustard, Manager of Business Development Representatives, discusses what a career in sales at Fidelity looks like with some of Fidelity’s best sales representatives. She is joined by Tracey Wong, VP Consultant Relations, Joel Bernard, Head of Sales & Relationship Management, Kristen Ulveland, Business Development Manager, and Lauren Gardy, Business Development Manager. The Fidelity sales panel discusses how they began their career in sales and what attracted them to begin their career at Fidelity. They also discuss how technology is changing sales and what skills and traits you can develop to also have a successful career in sales.
